Ming Hu, from Hubei Province, China, earned a B.S. in Applied Chemistry from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) in 2017. He then joined Professor Yan-song Zheng’s team at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Wuhan), focusing on the synthesis and application of organic chiral fluorescent materials.​ Upon obtaining his Ph.D. in 2022, Ming continued as a postdoc in the same group, researching the synthesis and self-assembly of chiral macrocycles and molecular cages. In May 2025, he joined Professor Swager’s team as a postdoctoral fellow.
