| Abstract | Polycyclic arom. monomers based on substituted dibenz[a,h]anthracene frameworks have been prepd. in high yields. From these, several fluorescent stair-stepped conjugated polymers contg. fused arom. subunits have been synthesized via Sonogashira polycondensations and Glaser-type oxidative couplings.
